Crazy, but that’s how it goes

I was reading my posts from the other day, and I noticed that I may have appeared a little disenchanted about my 13 month old son.  As of now I only have about 5-6 readers anyway, but I probably phrased my post wrong.  I love that little kid, but he has been so much more trouble than my other two were.  Either that or it’s been so long I forgot how hard it is.  He is just now FINALLY starting to sleep through the night.  For the first 9-10 months he would get up regularly twice a night, and usually the second time, at around 5-5:30am he would be up for the morning so either myself or my wife would have to get up with him.  My other two were much easier, my daughter used to put herself to bed pretty much by the time she was 12-18 months old.  And she slept through the night from 3 months on.  This kid just doesn’t sleep.  My wife read a book that said many “wired” or constantly hyped up kids become geniuses.  I hope so, but his infatuation for the toilet isn’t bearing that out yet….

XBOX 360 News–I bought Guitar Hero last week, and my son and his friends, along with myself have been playing pretty much nonstop when I am home.  It’s an addicting game for any music fans, even if you are not a video game enthusiast.  I am working on the Hard songs now, and they are kicking my butt so far.  Woman by Wolfmother is probably the easiest song on the “Easy” level, but on hard it is by far the hardest song so far.  On a side note, they released some songs from Guitar Hero I, which is good for me as I have never had a Playstation (always been an Xbox/Nintendo family so far), but they are a bit pricey at more than $2 a song, and you have to buy three, and you don’t have a choice on the extra two songs.  In other words, if you want Killer Queen by Queen you are stuck having to buy Frankenstein and Take it Off, whether you wanted those tracks or not.  Same with Bark At the Moon and Higher Ground.  Ah, well, you gotta love the marketing strategy.  For more info on this go here
